A lengthy layoff between our first round exit from the OHMA playdowns and the start of our Alliance league playoffs could have meant disaster for the St. Thomas Minor Atom Jr. Stars. However, after losing our first round robin game, St. Thomas came back with 3 straight wins to eliminate West London and North London from our division playoff round robin series and move onto the Finals. Three straight wins in the Finals meant a sweep of the Oakridge Aeros and the Alliance Bristol A Minor Atom Playoff Championship going to St. Thomas.

The St. Thomas Jr. Stars Minor Atom team display their pink leg bands in support of the Fight Against Cancer during league play in London last night. Head Coach Derek MacMillan will make a $1/period/player donation to the Cancer Society on behalf of the Jr. Stars.

The Minor Atom Jr. Stars traveled to Woodstock for the annual regional International Silver Stick qualifying tournament. After coming up short in the first 2 games, the Jr. Stars rebounded in game 3 to registered a win. Although the single win wasn't enough to carry our team past the round robin, it did restore some confidence that was missing earlier in the day.
