Not a Friendly Road Trip
Novice Jr. Stars drop both games on the road this past weekend!
In both Wallaceburg and Petrolia, the Novice Jr. Stars ran up against very physical teams that took the Stars by surprise for the first part of both games. The Jr. Stars, down early in both games, never gave up and began playing more physical as the games went on. The coaches were very proud of how the Stars bounced back time and time again and kept on digging and playing hard! Sunday's performance in Petrolia was a great effort and if a break or two went our way the score would have ended up in our favour. We played well enough to win but just could not get that proverbial break when we needed it! This Saturday we get to exact revenge on Petrolia as they come to St. Thomas for the second part of the home and home series! Lets hope for the same tough intense performance by our boys and I know the result will be different!
