Tough road loss in Thamesford!
Slow start in the first period and spotting the Attack 3 goals early did not help the Novice Jr. Stars efforts!
After a slow start in the first period and down 3 - 0 early the Novice Jr. Stars bounced back to take the play to the Thamesford Attack. Unfortunately the Jr. Stars came up short after making a game of it 3 - 2 in the second. The game was a little chippy for a Novice game but our boys continued pressing as best they could. Thamesford Attack was backed by a good goaltending effort which kept the Stars to only two goals! Shots and chances favoured the Stars as the majority of the play was in the Thamesford end. Kolton Levesque with a nice top shelf shot and Brady Kokko on a break away made it 3 -2. Trevor Loebach was solid in net for his first league start as the Jr. Stars goalie and Tyson Cincelli picked up right were Trevor left off finishing out the game!
