Novice Jr. Stars Split Weekend Games!
The Novice Jr. Stars split the weekend 1 & 1 with a win over Mt. Brydges and a loss to Lucan!
Saturday afternoon at the Timken Centre the Novice Jr. Stars came out to play as they were focused and ready come game time. Everyone played well and the Jr. Stars were backstopped to the win over Mt Brydges with a solid performance in net by Tyson Cincelli. The Jr. Stars were flying as they out skated and out worked Mt. Brydges to earn the victory 3 - 1. It was a little different story on Sunday as the Novice Jr. Stars took to the road and played in Lucan against the Irish. Lucan came out flying as they were very quick and moved the puck very well. The Stars seemed a little off their game and sat back watching for much of the early part of the game. Again Tyson Cincelli played very well in keeping the game within reach by making some key saves. The team woke up in the third period and began to play like the Stars can but it was too little too late as the Irish went on to win 7 - 3.
