You know when that moment occurs when all the planets, moon, stars, sun all go into alignment and all the hockey gods are smiling on you, well that wasn’t this moment at the ST THOMAS AE TOURNAMENT this weekend for the PEEWEE AE STARS.

Woodstock Navy Vets 5 – ST THOMAS PEEWEE STARS – 2
Windsor Jr. Spitfires 5 - ST THOMAS PEEWEE STARS – 0
Stoney Creek Warriors 7 - ST THOMAS PEEWEE STARS – 1
Even though it was a disappointing tournament for the STARS there were some positives to come out of this weekend. The boys played some hard physical play to keep themselves in the games. The goalies had a lot of black marks on them from the pucks that they saved. The defense played solidly and drove the forwards wide and played some great checking games. The forwards worked on their puck control and moving the puck out of their zone and rushing towards the net. Team play was the focus for the boys to work on.
All in all the PEEWEE AE STARS will try to take what improvements they made during this tournament and apply them to the rest of the season.
