Despite their best effforts, Our Team could not generate enough scoring chances to match the two goals scored by the Rockets. We are proud of our team. Go STARS Go! until next year. tryouts are in 5-1/2 months.

A solid efforts from all players for three periods, help dominate the Rockets 5-0. Goal scorers were Joseph (2), Derian (2) & Caleb. Assists went to Dylan, Joseph, Darryn & Nik

Another close game with Petrolia, who opened the scoring at the two and a half minute mark of the first period.0-1.

Darryn scored, assisted by Jack, two minutes into the game but the STARS could not hold the lead. The Stars trailed 2-1 at the end of the first period. Caleb went end to end to tie the game 2-2, but once again Petrolia score to take the lead 3-2. In the third period, Derian scored on a goal mouth scramble to tie the game 3-3 but once again Petrolia stormed back with two late period goals to take the game 5-3. Our Stars scored early in the first period on a goal by Derian assisted by Joe & Ryan W but we could not flash the red light in the second or third period. Our best chance was with 10 seconds left in the game, Nik was awarded a penalty shot. After a lengthy delay, he could not get his deek past the goalie. Better luck on Saturday at 2pm when the Shamrock playoffs start against Petrolia. Go STARS Go!
