Darryn scored, assisted by Jack, two minutes into the game but the STARS could not hold the lead. The Stars trailed 2-1 at the end of the first period.
Caleb went end to end to tie the game 2-2, but once again Petrolia score to take the lead 3-2. In the third period,
Derian scored on a goal mouth scramble to tie the game 3-3 but once again Petrolia stormed back with two late period goals to take the game 5-3.
