The Bantam AE team received the visit of Petrolia and put 56 shots on their net to get a final score of 5 to 1.
St. Thomas started strong but Petrolia drew first blood with 4 minutes to go in the first period. The score stayed this way for the first two periods in spite of numerous good chances by the Stars, including a two-post shot that stayed out of the Petrolia net by just a few millimeters. Finally St. Thomas exploded in the third period with 5 goals to take the win.
The big scorers for the Stars were Mark Lewis with two goals and 2 assists and Cody Howard with 1 goal and 1 assist. Andrew Wood and Jaden Sunderland added one goal each. The big passer was Chris Mikulinac with 2 assists. Noah Ethier added an assist to his statistics and Eric Pineda makes his debut in the score sheet with an assist in the fourth goal.
