One More Impressive Shutout by the Bantam AE Stars
The Bantam AE Stars shutout Petrolia 4-0 to get a commanding lead in the final series of the Shamrock League Pool “C” as they go ahead 2 games to nothing.

It was another dominant performance by our team as they out-shot the visitors with a margin of 46 shots. The first star of the game was #3 Jaden Sunderland with 2 goals and 1 assist for a total of 3 points.

The second star came from the defensive end as #14 Eric Pineda had another strong game highlighted by a clean hit that stopped Petrolia’s big guy wearing the #18 shirt for the visitors.

The third star was earned by St. Thomas net minder #1 Marco Valdez, who posted his second shutout of the season to improve his personal record to 6-3-2 in his last 11 starts in front of the St. Thomas net.

In general the whole team had an excellent game with contributions made from all the corners of the ice. #8 Mark Lewis scored his 10th of the season and #10 Tyler Beadle scored his 4th from the defense. Other players that earned points from assists were #2 Cole Eggleston, #4 Ethan Clunas and #5 Andrew Wood.

With this victory, St. Thomas is one win away from achieving the championship, which they will try to complete this Friday at the Timken Center.

Join us this Friday March 12 to cheer for our Bantam AE Stars!!
