Bantam AE, U14-U15 Travel, 2009-2010 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

This tournament will be played amongst 7 teams including the St. Thomas Junior Stars Bantam AE team. The remaining 6 teams are Agincourt, Pickering, Oshawa, Oakridge, Belleville and Chatham.

The venue will be the “Delaney & O`Brien” Arena, which is part of the Pickering Recreation Complex. The complex is located on 1867 Valley Farm Road in Pickering, ON L1V6K7. Their phone number is 905-831-1711.

Our team’s first game will be at 6:00pm on Friday October 2^nd in the O’Brien pad against Belleville. Please make sure you leave with some extra time as crossing Toronto in the middle of a rush hour will prove to be a challenge.

The second game will take place on Saturday October 3^rd at 12:00pm in the DB1 pad against Agincourt. The third game is dependent on the results but it will be either at 4:30pm or at 4:45pm.

Semi-finals will be played on Sunday at 11:00am and the final will be played also on Sunday at 3:40pm. Hopefully, our team will be playing at 3:40pm on Sunday.

This was a tough tournament for our team. They played against 3 very good teams but they never looked down and kept going forward. Our goalies were busy facing a significant amount of rubber. Definitely tough but we are confident that our team will rebound during the regular season.

Keep it up St. Thomas!!

We hope Jaden recovers soon from an injured arm during the game against Oakridge. He will be out for a few weeks.

This tournament will be played amongst 10 teams, including the St. Thomas Junior Stars Bantam AE team. The remaining 9 teams are East Gwillimbury, Southpoint, LaSalle, Windsor, Mount Brydges, Tecumseh, TNT Tornadoes, Belleville and another team still to be determined.

 

The games will be played at the Timken center with some games being played at the Memorial Arena.

 

Our team’s first game will be played at 2:25pm on Friday November 20 in the Presstran pad against Mount Brydges. Now, let’s remember that we have some unfinished business with this team as they beat us 4-0 last month.

 

The second game will take place on Saturday November 21 at 9:00am at the Memorial Arena against Belleville. Hopefully we can avenge our 6-1 loss during the Pickering tournament.

 

The third game will take place also on Saturday at 6:35pm in the walker pad versus the TNT Tornadoes. This team is product of a merger of hockey associations from Alliston and Tottenham. They are about half an hour north of Toronto.

 

Semi-finals will be played on Sunday at around 11:20am and the final will be played also on Sunday at 3:20pm. Hopefully, our team will be playing at 3:20pm on Sunday.
