Tyke Select White Earned a Confidence-Booster Win at Home
After a few loses in a row, the Tykes B get their second victory of the season when Aylmer visited St. Thomas for a second game between these two squads.
St. Thomas was able to get the win in their first confrontation last January 25 with a score of 2-1 and they repeated the offense on March 28, this time with a final score of 5-4.
The goals were scored by #11 Tyler Lewis, #8 Devin Van Lingen, #16 Kolton Levesque and 2 goals scored by #10 Rhett Devries.
In net, #1 Andrew Valdez shutout the first half of the game, and even though the Aylmer offense woke up for the second half of the game, #35 Christian Vecchio was able to hold it enough for the win.
St. Thomas was also very alert in the defensive end with very good plays from several players like #2 Tyler Johnston, #7 Lucas Glanville, #3 Kyle Wiebe, #6 Colin Weir and the line of the Ostojic brothers #5 Marco and #14 Mile.
Great game guys!!
