Solid Effort Pays Off!!
St. Thomas used special teams to gain an edge on Amherstburg, and tie up the best of five OMHA series at a game apiece. Two short-handed goals in the third period by Keaton McIntyre and Aaron Nickles prove to be the difference in the Stars 4-2 win @ Presstran Rink Sunday night.The home team pulled together and played a complete game, winning battles and playing smart. Ryan Vandenbroek and Ryan Pineau netted St. Thomas' other two goals. The series resumes next Mon. Jan. 18th @ home.
