Not For Lack Of Effort
The Minor Bantams went into last weekends 2 games knowing what they had to do in order to advance, and almost pulled it off! After winning an overtime thriller on Sat. v. Burlington, the Stars needed to win on Sunday in order to advance into the finals of the Alliance Playdowns. Cambridge started strong and bolted to a 4-1 lead through 2 periods, before the Stars turned it on one last time. St. Thomas scored 2 more late , but could not get the equalizer to force overtime. Great effort boys!!
