EXHIBTION GAME VICTORY
The Atom Jr. Stars posted their first win of the season with an exhibition victory over the visiting North London National.

With just 1:20 left in the first period, The Stars fell behind 1-0 as London struck first with a power play goal on a shot from the point that found it's way past a screened Taylor Honsinger.  The Stars responded quickly and evened the score at one just 21 seconds later as Nik Churchill scored the team's first goal of the season after corralling a loose puck deep in London's end and burying it in the back of the net.

In both the 2nd and 3rd periods, London scored twice more, gaining the lead each time.  Goal mouth scrambles saw Stars goals scored by Tyler MacMillan and Drake Hunter to even the contest at 2-2 and 3-3 respectively.

The Stars were finally able to grab the lead late in the 3rd period with MacMillan sliding a backhand shot past a sprawling London goalie.  With London pressing hard, the Stars were able to hold there opponents off for final 2:00 and finish with the victory.

Assists to Devon Kaplanis(2), Ian Westaway, Hunter, Churchill, Miles Vaughan and Mason Newell.

Honsinger and Brett Chapman shared the win in net.
