Struggles Continue as Stars fall to Lancers
In what should have been a game with another rung in the ladder in sight, the Stars failed to capitalize in this one.
Searching for answers is becoming a common theme recently for the Stars and their coaches. Sunday night was no different. With top 4 in the standings right in front of them , the Stars failed to capitalize time and time again during the game. Just a little more drive and desparation and this game could have definitely had a more favourable outcome, but it was to no avail.
What motivates a team?
This is the driving question in the minds of the coaching staff.
The prize was within reach, but fell out of sight.
How can one ignite a fire with no kindling? It seems the passion just is not fully present. The passion the coaching staff knows this team possesses is just not surfacing. Why?
Is it fear?
Is it a fact of being unprepared?
Is it complacency?
All these questions, but no real answers. This team is better than their record shows.
Can they bring themselves to believe it?
That is another question.
