Bantam AE ('96-'97), U14-U15 Travel, 2010-2011 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

September 7th ,2010. It feels like yesterday. Together as a team for 208 days, together through memories forever. The Bantam AE Stars wrapped up their season on Saturday April 2nd as they took the ice together for the final time. A season of highs and lows now behind them, but a lifetime of memories forever etched.

Pride. Just one word, but a complete sentence. When one hears the word Pride,many things come to mind. Your thoughts turn to every moment in your lifetime that has brought you that feeling. 

Strength in the face of adversity. Everyone has heard this cliché. Everyone has battled their own personal adversity. It makes one stronger. Nobody should or can argue that fact. How one channels that strength for betterment is the key.

The Jr. Stars dropped 2 in a row to round out 2010 and their 1st game of 2011. The losses came to Mooretown (3-1),Mt. Brydges(6-0) and St Mary's (2-0) in league play. The Jr. Stars now sit in 8th place in the standings with 1 game remaining.

On Thursday Dec.16th the Stars took to the ice. This time,the ice was on the roads. The Stars continued their Christmas cheer by embarking on a little shopping spree. Armed with a grocery list and cash, raised by the players of the team through their own donation, the Stars took to the aisles of the Price Chopper on Talbot St. Sponsor families throughout the city of St Thomas will benefit from the Stars generosity with all the food collected on the spree being donated to St Thomas Christmas Care..
