Bantam AE Jr. Stars Can Drive a Success!!!
The Bantam AE Stars held their own can drive on Sunday Dec. 12th and the results were a success. The Stars donated all non-perishable food and canned goods to the St Thomas Caring Cupboard. Many families throughout the St Thomas area find this time of year very tough and the Stars were more than happy to lend a helping hand. Thankyou to everyone for your generous donations from the Jr. Stars and the Coaching Staff.
The Stars are not finished in their giving for the Christmas Season. This coming Thursday (December 16th) at the St Thomas Price Chopper the Stars will be shining brightly for their very own shopping spree. Each coach will have a team of 6 players and the teams will join forces to fill care packages for sponsor families within the city of St Thomas. Each player will make a small monetary donation towards the care package which will matched by a local sponsor to help towards filling the care packages. This time the Stars generosity will be donated to St Thomas Christmas Care.
Hockey is a sport that involves constant learning. Hockey and Life Lessons go hand in hand as both require constant awareness. Life Lessons are learning experiences. The Stars are learning quickly that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how old you are.
