Join Us For Christmas at the Station
The St. Thomas Minor Bantam Jr. Stars would like to extend an invitation to all of St. Thomas Minor Hockey Association, their families and friends, to join us on December 18, 2010 for an evening of music, dance, prizes, libations and frivolity at an event we have called "Christmas at the Station".

Tickets for "Christmas at the Station" are on sale now at the low, low price of $15.00 for individual tickets or $25.00 per couple.  Your ticket will get you inside the beautifully restored dining hall of the Canadian Southern Railway Station, where you will enjoy the alternating musical talents of Get Back, a Beatles tribute band comprised of St. Thomas' finest young talent, as well as an endless collection of your favourite songs played by DJ Brian May.  Food and door prizes are included with the price of admission.  If you have not had an opportunity to view the interior of Railway Station, it is truly a St. Thomas architectural treasure.

If you think you can possibly tolerate more excitement, an elimination draw and silent auction will be held during the course of the evening.  The prize list for the elimination draw will include a trip for two to Las Vegas with $500.00 spending money, cash awards, and autographed N.H.L. jerseys.  Silent auction items will include Blue Jay tickets, a round for four at the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club, and a free 2011 registration with St. Thomas Minor Hockey Association.

Proceeds from this event will help fund the player cost of an experience in Europe they will not soon forget. Between December 26, 2011 and January 7, 2012, the team will represent Canada and St. Thomas when they participate in a hockey tournament in Prague, the Czech Republic, as well as play exhibition games in Salzburg, Austria and Munich, Germany.  The team is also hoping to attend a Premier Division professional hockey game in Prague, experience the local Czech culture by billeting with families for two nights, tour the Nazi concentration camp at Dachau, and spend a day on the slopes of the Alps in Austria.

The Minor Bantams have also partnered with The Caring Cupboard, a St. Thomas food bank, for this event.   The team will be donating cans of food as well as $100.00 to the Caring Cupboard, and are asking that others planning on attending the evening also bring with them non perishable food items for donation.

Doors will open at 8:30 p.m..  Tickets can be purchased from Judy Jacoletti, Scott Tottle, Jody Turley, Lisa Smith, James Mallory or by making a request through this website.  Team ticket discounts and table reservations are also available.  This event has been licensed by the L.C.B.O..  Look forward to seeing you there.
