Major Midgets head to Connecticut, U.S.A.
The Elgin Chrysler Major Midgets will be leaving Dec 2nd for a 5-day trip to Connecticut, U.S.A. where they will visit 3 U.S. Prep Schools.
This trip will allow the 15, 16 and 17 year old players an opportunity to tour these 3 schools and play an exhibition game against each of their respective teams. They will also visit Yale University and watch the Yale vs. Quinnipiac game Dec 4th.
This is the 2nd year in a row that the STMHA Major Midget program has visited U.S. Prep schools, educating players and parents about this unique approach to athletics and academics. Last year the Major Midgets took a similar trip to the Boston, MA area.
