All players Please take note of the added exhibition games and times to our updated tryout schedule.
All NRP classified players will play all 4 games.
There will be NO releases until after the last game.
This will give each of you the opportunity to show your game and get noticed by our evaluation team. (Read my last post of what it is you need to do)
Mike Ellis will be facilitating the 1st two on ice tryouts and evaluations.
Mike and his team will also be traveling to each of the games to evaluate each of the NRP players.
At the conclusion of tryouts evaluations forms for all NRP players will be available upon request.
If you’re not familiar with Mike he has played and coached against the top hockey nations throughout Europe and has absorbed and developed many teaching techniques that he shares with all athletes he works with.
Mike is currently under contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization both at the NHL & AHL level. His current role is in developing MLSE's protected players and Prospects. Working on all game related skills with players. Using video analysis and feedback to help the players grow and improve their skill sets. Providing progressive teaching methods to help the players reach their highest levels of performance and technique efficiency.
Mike is also the founder and owner of Progressive Hockey Development which offers Professional Instruction to players that are looking to raise their game to the next level. PHD uses cutting edge training and teaching methods to push the players outside their comfort zone. PHD provides the progressive platforms players require to reach for their highest levels of performance and technique.
Mike and his staff will continue to work with my staff through out the season to ensure that our players are given every opportunity to improve their TEAM game and individual skills sets.
