Novice A ('04), 2012-2013 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

The Novice A team started last weekend out on the road in Petrolia.  Saturdays contest did not go in the Stars favor as they came away with a 6-1 loss at the hands of the Oilers.  Fortunately, they were able to turn the tide of a four game skid at home on Sunday against the St Mary's Rock.  The home team rolled to a 4-3 victory to close out the weekend.

Following a tough final minute loss in Mt. Brydges on Saturday the Stars failed to cash in on Sunday at the Timken Center against the Dorchester Dragons.  Anderson Walker held the visitors to a single tally in an outstanding performance but the Stars couldn't find the score sheet.

The Novice Stars kicked off the Thanksgiving weekend on the road at the Tri Township arena in Mount Brydges.  The Stars out shot the Cougars and controlled the majority of the play but came up short in a 5-4 loss. 

On Monday night at the Gemini Sportsplex in Strathroy the Novice team ran into a solid Strathroy squad.  The team battled hard in the match but came out on the losing end of an 8-2 score.

The Stars opened the Shamrock Schedule with an 8-4 win at home on Sunday.
