Schedule & Results, Midget AE ('94-'96), U16-U18 Travel, 2011-2012 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

Came out of the gate slow and we were outplayed in 1st period. They out shot us 12-8 and we fell behind 3-1 going into second.  The Stars turned things around and totally dominated the 2nd, out shooting Lambeth 19-7 and out scoring them 2-1.  Score should have read 4-4 going into third but referee missed an obvious goal, that was up under cross bar, the fans actually saw the mess  move....so be it.  That dissallowed goal defused us, as Lambeth scored a shorthanded goal early in 3rd and we never did get our skating legs back.  A late empty net goal that was quite meaningless finished the scoring.  The overall shots on net were 36-29 in our favour and the coaches felt that had we started that 3rd period with the lead, the outcome could have been different.
