Another Great Effort by the Novice Jr. Stars
At home at the Timken Centre on Saturday, the Novice Jr. Stars played host to Lambeth. The game was the debut for the teams new digs as the new sweaters for the season were unveiled.
The Stars came out flying and ready to play in our new jerseys but for the second time in two games, came up just a little short losing to Lambeth by a 4 - 2 score. The stars were passing and skating hard which lead to many good scoring chances. The entire team played well and was backed by a strong effort from our goal keeper, Tyson Cincelli. Our offense was lead by some real pretty passing plays and hard work which goal scorers Tyler Lewis and Marco Ostojic benefitted from. It was a total team game played well by everyone. It was great to see the team keep on working hard and trying right to the final buzzer. We will get them next time!
Today the Novice Stars take to the ice at 2:30pm for an afternoon game at the Timken Centre.
See you at the rink!
