MIDGETS WIN BACK TO BACK AT HOME!
The Lions Club of St. Thomas Major Midgets had a successful weekend at home. Saturday's game vs. Oakridge ended with a 5-3 win. Points earned by: Zak Jukna-1 goal/2 assist; Tyler Beaulieu-1 goal/1 assist; Tanner Turley-2 goals/2 assist; Luke McGuire-1 goal; Braden Hellems-1 assist; and Trevor Smith-1 assist.
Sunday's game vs. Woodstock finished with a score of 4-3, with points earned by Jordan Pogue-2 goals/1 assist; Travis Verkade-1 goal; Luke McGuire-1 goal; Mark Brisson-1 assist; Sean Gordon-1 assist; Ryan Gilson-1 assist; Brad Holder-1 assist; Brett Beattie-1 assist.
The Team will hit the streets this Saturday for a fund raising bottle drive. The Major Midgets are fund raising for an upcoming tournament in Cleveland, OH.
