Stars lose to Lambton Shores
The Maxwell's Cameras/Ansell's Awards midget AE team scored the first goal of the game Thursday in Forest but couldn't net another coming away with a 5-1 loss. Ryan Gilson scored for the Jr. Stars giving St. Thomas a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period. Lambton Shores pulled away in the with four in the second and rounded out the scoring early in the third period. The Stars next game is their first of the OMHA playdowns Sunday at 6:45 at the Timken Center against LaSalle.
