Tough one in Amherstburg
St. Thomas let one slip away in their first game of OMHA Playdowns, losing 6-4 on the road in Amherstburg. Leading 4-3 entering the third period, the Stars let the home side back into the game and then couldn't reply with any offence late in the game. It was an entertaining game with plenty of scoring and some great saves at both ends with Kyle Nesbitt shining in the Stars net. St. Thomas couldn't clear the puck at crucial times, which led to scoring chances for the home side. Keaton McIntyre had a hat trick and Matty Devan added the single for St. Thomas. Game two goes Sun. Jan.10th @ 630pm @ Prestran Rink.
