Minor Atom A, U10-U11 Travel, 2009-2010 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars began there playoffs against London Bandits at the Timken Centre over the weekend.  Derek Johnston started the scoring for St.Thomas and assisted by Myles Carlson in the first period but this was answered back by Eoin Smullen of the Bandits.

Kinsmen Stars defeated Riverside Rangers 6 - 1 on Jan 24 @ WFCU arena, to move on to the second round of OMHA playdowns.  Goal scorers were Sam Hardy with two, Brayden Latimer, Tanner Rickwood, Brendan Johnston and Derek Johnston with singles.  Second round of OMHA playdowns take place in Amherstburg this weekend.

Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars played Riverside Rangers today in game #3 of OMHA playdowns beating them 6-2.  Riverside scored on the first shift of the game.  Derek Johnston answered back by scoring the first goal for the Stars, unassisted.  Myles Carlson scored assisted by Sam Hardy in the second period leading the way into the third 2-1 for St.Thomas.  Tyelor Goddeeris started the scoring in the third period on a tape to tape pass from by Brayden Latimer. 

Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars out shot Riverside Rangers today in game #2 of a six point series in OMHA playdown game at Timken Centre. Kyle Vrabel of Riverside Rangers kept St.Thomas off the score board. Riverside won 4 -0. Next game tomorrow @ 12:30 Timken Centre.

St.Thomas Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars started there OMHA playoffs with a win over Riverside on the road today defeating them 5-4. Stars pick up the first two points of a six point series. Myles Carlson started the scoring in the first unassited. Riverside scored early in the second on a powerplay goal. Stars rallyed scoring 4 straight goals to make it 5-1 after the second. Goals scores were Brendan Johnston assisted by Tanner Rickwood, Brayden Latimer assisted by Rickwood, Derek Johnston with two and assists to Sam Hardy and Brent Walker.
