KINSMEN WIN over Riverside
St.Thomas Kinsmen Minor Atom Stars started there OMHA playoffs with a win over Riverside on the road today defeating them 5-4. Stars pick up the first two points of a six point series. Myles Carlson started the scoring in the first unassited. Riverside scored early in the second on a powerplay goal. Stars rallyed scoring 4 straight goals to make it 5-1 after the second. Goals scores were Brendan Johnston assisted by Tanner Rickwood, Brayden Latimer assisted by Rickwood, Derek Johnston with two and assists to Sam Hardy and Brent Walker. Riverside fought back in the third scoring 3 goals to make it 5-4. Brady Johnstone made some BIG saves in the last couple minutes of the third to hold on for the win. Kinsmen have the next three games at home.
