Games Start Saturday
Games Start this Saturday October 29th. All games from this point forward will be timed and refereed.
The Referees will be calling penalties for not wearing mouth guards properly, and if a player does not have a mouth guard they will not be permitted on the ice. All intentional body contact, and ice rules will also be enforced.
Games will be run time with a buzzer every 3 minutes to switch the players. There will be a coach out on the ice with their team to help organize ice play. STMHA asks that there be no parents on the bench during the game, as it can be distracting for the players, referees, and coaches.
Although the game will be scored, it remains developmental hockey, with the emphasis being placed on the rules of the game, core skill development, and having fun.
