The Minor Peewee Williams Funeral Home Jr Stars have advanced to the OMHA Finals.  The boys showed a lot of heart and determination this past weekend and completed a sweep of Guelph.  This was a complete team effort and everyone took turns contributing.  We now have to wait to face the winner of the Uxbridge/Nobleking series.  Congratulations boys, this is well deserved!!!

The Minor Peewee Williams Funeral Home Jr Stars endured a long weekend and came home champions of the Orillia Winter Classic on the weekend.  The tournament started Friday night with a 3-1 win over North Toronto.  Saturday morning the Stars had to face the host team from Orillia.  Playing one of their best games in weeks they were all over the Terriers from the start and prevailed 7-2.  Saturday night brought on a tough game against Grimsby.  The Stars started strong but fell apart and took a tough 6-0 defeat.

I would first like to thank all the boys for hard work during the tryouts.  This year was an insanely competitive tryout.  All decisions have been extremely difficult.  For the players not listed, good luck with AE tryouts or back in your home centre.

First off , I would like to thank all the boys for the effort this weekend.  I thought we played 2 very good games.  Rumun and I are having a very tough time narrowing this down as all the boys have played great.
