Great start with 2 hard fought WINS this weekend in our first playoff games.

Saturday win:  Down by 2 goals (2-0) heading into 3rd period, the boys reached deep and came from behind...with winning goal scored with only 35 seconds left in game to pull off very sweet 3-2 win.

Sunday win:  We started off very strong with 3-0 lead in first period ...then a zany 2nd period filled with numerous penalties on both teams.  We even got our first 10 minute mouthguard penalty of the year.   (Yes, is a harsh call, but rules state it is a misconduct - without warning, if mouthguard is even partially out of mouth.)   Erie rallied hard, pulling their goalie giving them a 6 on 4 for a while...but boys held them off, and got an empty netter for a 5-2 win.

Playoff hockey has a real intensity about it with emotions running high, but Coaching staff will continue to encourage boys to stay focused, positive and "stick to the plan".

Congratulations boys and keep up the good work.
