Pee Wee A ('01), U12-U13 Travel, 2013-2014 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

The St. Thomas Jr Stars Kilbank Metal Forming and Turning PeeWee A team have advanced to the OMHA Playdown Quarterfinal round after defeating Essex 3 games to 1 and winning the Bluewater Hockey League title in regional play.

The St. Thomas Jr Stars Kilbank Metal Forming & Turning PeeWee A team travelled to Essex this past weekend to compete in our regional OMHA Playdown qualifying tournament.  Seeded 1st overall entering the tournament, the Stars took advantage of the top position and posted a perfect 2-0 record to qualify for the Bluewater Regional Playdown Series.

The Kilbank Metal Forming & Turning Jr. Stars travelled to Leamington over the weekend to compete in the Capitals Cup Challenge Tournament host by the South Point Minor Hockey Association.  Strong play by all players, both offensively and defensively enabled the Stars to out score their opponents 30-7, post a perfect  5 and 0 record and win the PeeWee A division Championship!!

The Kilbank Metal Forming & Turning PeeWee A Jr. Stars travelled to St. Catharine’s this past weekend to compete in the Garden City Early Bird Tournament.  Finishing 1st in our pool with a record of 3-0-1, it was straight to the finals against the Orillia Terriers.  The PeeWee A Stars took the final game by a score of 8-4, going undefeated in the tournament and claiming the Championship.

Before practice tonight the players voted on their dress code for the season.  The boys have decided to go with the dress shirt and tie with dark pants  and a St. Thomas Stars jacket for this season.
