Minor Pee Wee A ('00), U12-U13 Travel, 2011-2012 (St. Thomas Minor Hockey)

The Minor Peewee Stars capture the Alliance Bristol Playoff Championship with a 5-3 win over the Oakridge Aeros. 

It was a true team effort that saw the Minor Peewee St.Thomas Stars win the regional Silver Stick Championship this past weekend in Owen Sound.  

Minor Pee Wee Stars hosted the Cambridge Hawks today at the Timken Centre.  Chase Buchanan lead the Stars with two goals in the first period.  Taking the lead into the second period the Stars scored two more one from Devin Robison and Brayden Latimer, making it 4-0.  In the third Buchanan added another one for the hat trick and Derek Johnston added two more for the 7-0 win. Defensive pair Justin May and Tanner Rickwood were on the ice for six of the St.Thomas goals. James Allison made a couple huge saves to hang on for the shut out.

The staff of the Minor Peewee Team would like to thank all the players who attended this year’s selection camps.  The inclusion of Non Resident Players made the camp one of the most competitive and one of the most difficult for the coaches. The selection process is never easy and in the end the staff has selected players who best fit the criteria they were looking for and placed players where they will have the best opportunity for success.  Congratulations to the following list of players who have been selected to our final roster. 

I would like to thank all the players who attended the try-outs for the Minor Peewee Team. Decision have been very difficult as all players have given a great effort thus far, unfortunately there are only 17 positions which includes 3 Non Resident Positions to be filled on the team. At this point we have made our 1st round of selections and below you will find the roster for the invite only exhibition game which will be held on Sunday September 4th at 9:30am at the Timken Centre.  The final roster selection will be made after the exhibition game.
