I appologize for the latesness of this update, there were some very difficult decisions to be made and took longer than expected.
The following players will be moving on in our tryout process. Below is the lineup for tonights game vs Strathroy at the Gemini Complex at 8:00pm. For those not on the list please do not be discouraged. You made this decision very difficult.
If possible please arrive 1 hour prior to gametime so that we can do a quick warmup, go over a simple gameplan, expectations and answer any questions players may have. I will talk with all the 2011's as well to ease their minds about their first game with body contact.
Players: To prepare for the game. Tonight is not about winning or losing or how many goals you can score.
Qualities we will be looking for will be simple hockey processes:
Positioning, back checking, communicating with your line mates, attitude and accountability. All of these qualities are something you are in total control of every shift of the game. The willingness to compete. Skills can be taught, compete level is something you must bring to the table.
We will be wearing Green - Jerseys will be provided.
