BOSTON PIZZA CUP CHAMPS!!!!!
Congratulations goes out to our St Thomas Novice A/E boys for going undefeated this weekend as the host team at the Boston Pizza Cup. All the boys worked hard to make sure the Boston pizza cup stayed right here in St.Thomas. We started off with a win over the Cambridge Hawks Friday 9-0. Saturday morning we had to play our best with a very strong Windsor jr spitfires team 5-0. To end off the round robin the boys skated to a 8-0 win over the La Salle sabers. First thing sunday morning was the semi finals. The boys never let up and skated their way to the finals with a 7-0 victory. In the finals we had to take on those never say die Windsor jr spitfires again. The kids scored the first goal early in the second period and never gave the Spitfires any breathing room the whole latter part of the game. Final score Stars 5 Spitfires 0.
