Stars shut out 99ers
Minor Atoms travel to Brantford Saturday afternoon to start 2nd half of season and come out on top.
First period had our boys feeling out their opponent and skating to even 0-0 after 10 minutes of play. The second period had St.Thomas breaking the dead lock by Ryder Laur finishing off a beauty pass from Aiden Holder in front of the net and finishing the 2nd period 1-0. The second marker found the twine behind the 99ers net minder off the stick of Owen McIntyre and then Trent Rickwood added the 3rd goal for insurance. The Stars defence played a very sound game behind their offence while working hard together as a team at both ends of ice. Net minder Anderson Walker was just as focused to earn his shut out as the Jr.Stars were perfect in a 3-0 victory.
