Lots of penalties on both sides, but the game started out quite even with no penalties in the first period.  Shots were even, 6-6 and the score reflected a similar equation, 0-0.
 It seemed like a different game from 2nd period on,  Lots of scoring and penalties. Shots on goal in 2nd were 13-11 and the score was 4-3 both in Stars favour.  The final score of 8-5 was an indication of St. Thomas being able to capitalize on the power play even though we did give up 3 ourselves.  Final shots on net 30-28 for St. Thomas.  Scoring for St. Thomas...Cody Howard with 3 goals and 3 assists, Woody(Andrew Wood) with 2 goals and 1 assist, Matt Roberts with 2 goals, Josh Chatten with 1 goal 1 assist.  Also contributing were Stevie Drew with 4 assists, Chris Mikulinac with 2 assists, Brodie Dunley with 1 assist and Max McVety with 1 assist.
