The Strieb Trucking/Walter Ostojic and Sons Ltd. Jr. Stars Peewee team defeated the Pelham Panthers 3-2 to capture the bronze medal in the Strathroy Rep Olympics tournament on Sunday Nov. 14th.

The "streak" has come to an end and the boys will play today, Sunday Nov 14th @ 2 pm, for the bronze medal of the Strathroy Rep Olympics Tournament. Hope to see you there. Great job boys!

After scoring only one goal in their past eight games the boys travelled to Woodstock on Monday night and netted two and almost walked away with a victory. They continue to imrove on a nightly basis and their effort in Woodstock shows they are headed in the right direction. Their ability to transfer what they learn in practise to game nights is becoming more evident every time out. If this trend continues then the boys will be rewarded for their hard work. Great job guys, keep it rolling into your games this weekend!

The boys will be playing in their home tournament this weekend, Oct 22-24. Game times are: Friday Oct. 22, 5:00 pm @ Memorial Saturday Oct. 23, 1:05 pm @ Timken, 6:15 @ Timken Hope to see you there!

The boys traveled to Sarnia last Sunday and put in their best effort of the year. Even though they came out on the wrong end of the score they showed signs of improvement and at times had the Sting pinned in their own end. A bounce here or there and this game could have been much different. They will attempt to use all the things worked on in practice this weekend when they take to the ice for four games in four days. If they continue to improve each time out good things will begin to happen for the boys. Keep up the good work!
