Minor Bantams (2004) and Major Atoms (2007) Advance to OMHA Finals
Congratulations to the coaching staff and players of the Minor Bantam and Major Atom Jr Stars for advancing through to the OMHA Playdown Finals!

In an unprecedented year where STMHA saw six teams progress to the semi final series of OMHA Playdowns.....our Major Atoms and Minor Bantams had what it took to advance.

The Major Atoms made quick work of the Burlington Eagles winning games 1 through 3 and sweeping the series 6 points to zero.

The Minor Bantams found themselves tied at 5 points even with the Centre Wellington Fusion after 5 games, requiring a rarely seen game 6 to be played last night at the Timken Centre to settle the 6 point series.  The Minor Bantams left no doubt as they punched their ticket to the OMHA Finals with a convincing 5 - 2 victory.

Moving forward the Major Atoms Jr Stars will face the Innisfil Winterhawks in the Atom A Final (6 point series).  Home ice dates are as follows:

Game 1 Saturday March 17  4pm  Timken Centre
Game 2 Sunday   March 18  1pm  Timken Centre
Game 5 Sunday   March 31  1pm  Timken Centre  (if necessary)

The Minor Bantam Jr Stars are set to play the Barrie Colts in the Minor Bantam A Final (6 point series) starting with games 1 and 2 on the road in Barrie.

Game 3 Saturday March 24  8pm  Memorial Arena
Game 4 Sunday   March 25  2pm  Memorial Arena (if necessary)
