Why the Move to the Alliance BB League Matters:

The transition to Alliance BB is expected to offer several key benefits for families and players:

  • Consistent Weekly Scheduling: More predictable practice and game times.

  • Weekend-Focused Games: Minimizes mid-week travel and disruptions.

  • Higher Competition Level: Play against the top players from larger centers, in single-age divisions.

  • Faster, More Skilled Play: U14 and up will feature non-body contact rules.

  • Single Birth Year Format: Supports more age-specific development.

  • Affiliate Player (AP) Opportunities: Eligible players can AP to St. Thomas Alliance AA/A teams and compete against top-tier players from larger centers (e.g., Kitchener, Waterloo, London, Brantford).

Additionally, the OHF’s Open Border Policy allows teams to benefit from increased player movement, attracting talent from outside the city.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to a fantastic season ahead!
