SEASON UPDATE - Thursday April 1 2021
As I'm sure all have heard or seen, the Provincial Government held a press conference this afternoon moving the entire province to a lockdown, which is set to last for 4 weeks.

In light of this announcement, STMHA has decided to cancel the remaining week of hockey for the current 2020-21 season.

STMHA Board of Directors would like to thank all families, parents, and players, for their patience and understanding with our Board and the City Staff this entire season.    Although it wasn't a usual year, and we were faced with challenges, and new stringent covid protocols;  We are very pleased with how the season was delivered! 

We are anticipating and looking forward to a full return to "Normal" hockey in September for the 2021-22 Season!

Couple Friendly reminders below:  

1) Coaching applications for Rep teams are due and will be closing April 16th.  If you would like to Coach, please submit your application soon.
 
2) "Fit Day" for Rep teams will be this year will open Monday May 31 and will close Sunday June 13.  You can either order online through the online portal under the "STARS" tab, or go directly into Peranis to get fitted.   By ordering between these dates ensures your equipment will be here prior to season start.   This includes Gloves / Bags / Pants / Pant Shells / Jerseys / Spirit Wear.

3) Registration for the next 2021-22 season will be opening soon, please keep an eye on the website.

4) Our Annual General meeting will be held this year on Wednesday June 2nd at 6:30pm.  Details on our AGM will follow.

We have many vacancies on our board arising this year.  If you are interested, get your name into Vicki, and make sure you attend the AGM.

Mark REID Memorial Fund
Mark participated in minor hockey in St Thomas as a child. His love of the game continued throughout his life. In his memory, a fund has been created, providing annual funding to offset costs to those in need. Those children selected will in turn get an opportunity to participate in minor hockey in St Thomas, and experience the same enjoyment from our great game as Mark did.
