New SportsHeadz Digital Health Check
Submitted By Diana Wilson on Tuesday, October 6, 2020
SportsHeadz Health Check Now LIVE!

We are pleased to announce that health screenings can now be enabled from our website through the new SportsHeadz Digital Health Check.  We have included links below to help get you started with the process.

SportsHeadz has worked diligently with the governing bodies around Ontario to make sure that all questions and safety regulations were put in place. Not only to make recreational sports safe, but also to keep your data secure. The schedule of events within the Health Check system are synced to the STMHA website to ensure that screenings can be completed before every scheduled ice time, or team event posted in your association website.

Instructions for Coaches/Team Managers/COVID Watchers:

You will be receiving an email from STMHA VP's with instructions and a 2020-2021 Team Roster Default Template (.csv) file.

Once set up, you will be able to designate access to the appropriate manager and/or coach to serve as Team Admins for their team(s).  They will then be able to establish their roster of players and guardians.

Team Admins can also complete screenings on behalf of anyone on the roster and view the results of all screenings on their team for each event. To help with the on-boarding process, we’ve enabled Association Administrators to act on behalf of their Team Admins in getting players & guardians imported quickly and efficiently.

Instructions for Parents:

Guardians (or players who are old enough) will receive their own SportsHeadz login, so they can quickly complete screenings for themselves or anyone they are managing. After completing a screening, they can show that they’ve passed before entering the facility.

We’re also extremely excited to announce that coming very soon will be the SportsHeadz App!

This App, which will be available through the Google Play and App Store, will allow your team to track attendance, organize their schedule, and provide quick links to the Health Check system all from their smartphone.

Please contact Diana Wilson - STMHA COVID Officer at 519-860-2075 or [email protected] with questions on getting set up.
