On Family Day, Mon, Feb 18th, 2019 Western University Professor and Sports Psychologist, Alan Edmunds, Ph.D. will visit the East Elgin Community Complex for a two-hour presentation entitled "Doing It Right: How to Help Your Child Handle High-Pressure Sport".

This seminar is for parents of athletes involved in competitive sport. What kinds of pressure do these athletes face? How do they react to winning, or not making the team? How do they respond when injured? Can they emotionally get to the next level? Most importantly, how do Mom and Dad help them navigate these issues? This seminar was developed to provide parents with the best approach to helping their child handle high pressure sport.
This presentation will run from 10am to 12pm.

Ticket prices will be as follows:
- $65/person
- $60/person if more than one parent/family member attending
- $55/person for groups of 10 or more
