Stars Bantam AE Ready for Playdowns
Submitted By mvaldez on Sunday, January 17, 2010
St. Thomas played hard to keep the Mount Brydges powerhouse at bay for the first half of the game but could not avoid the loss with a final score of 3 to 1. In spite of the defeat, the boys showed a strong commitment and they are leaving everything on the ice.

The player of the game has to go to Brodie Dunley who played alert and aggressive until he was caught in a scramble behind the St. Thomas net that left him out for the remainder of the game.

The goal for St. Thomas was a beauty scored by Marc Lewis unassisted and short handed which brought hope to the team towards the end of the game but Mount Brydges scored just a couple of minutes later to seal the scoreboard. Dylan Hodgson had a great game on net stopping 28 shots to keep the game close. With this performance the Bantam AE stars showed that they are ready to face any team regardless of positions in the stands.
