Round 2 Shamrock Playoff, Game 3
Ingersoll was the opponent and we tied 4-4. We now have to win on Sunday at home against them or we are done. We had a 4-2 lead going into the 3rd. A dreaded headchecking penalty which nobody likes was the difference early in the 3rd. I don't really complain about penalties but they were one sided. They scored 2 goals on the four minute powerplay, that was very early in the 3rd. The PK was too wide on the outside and left the slots open. Again a couple of lucky bounces on the powerplay. The boys contolled the game again, its too bad the lead slipped away. We will be missing a couple of players again on Sunday. Hopefully the boys will stick to the gameplan to succeed.
