Stoney Creek Tournament
Select Winterfest
The Novcice Select attended another tournament this time The Select WinterFest in Stoneycreek. The team struggled to find their game through the first two games on the Friday losing 7-1 to the Lawfield Thunder and 8-1 to the Milton Winterhawks. Alex Burgess picked up the lone goal in game one with Bradley Grignard drawing the assist. Tristan Cruikshank tallied in the second game with Bradley Grignard and Mason Newell picking up the assists. Game three on the Saturday was a much better effort from the boys. We had some solid goaltending from JD Jakobi and Joseph Gray in net but could not overcome a slow start to the game dropping a 3-1 decision to the Stouffville Spitfires. Mason Newell scored for the Stars with Luka Dennis drawing the assist. The boys had fun and good times were had by all.
