Bantam A Jr. Stars Win Hometown Boston Pizza Cup
The
boys took advantage of home ice to win STMHA’s Boston Pizza Cup Major
tournament October 18 – 20, 2019.
Preliminary play saw the team beat London Jr. Mustangs Purple, Guelph Gryphons and St. Catharines Falcons and tie against Owen Sound Jr. Attack, securing first place going into semi-final action. A convincing win against Amherstburg Stars set up a final rematch with Guelph. The team got down early but eventually pulled away for a 4-1 win to hoist the cup.
Congratulations to Coach Rob, assistant coaches Aidan, Jordan and Marc, along with hydration manager Jason and motivational speaker Andrew for a job well done. Thanks to all the volunteers associated with this tournament who put on a great event. #stthomasproud
