I would like to welcome everyone to the 2019/2020 Minor Bantam A/AA season. I am excited to move forward with this group and would like to offer details for the event Saturday May 25th.

I thought it would be nice to combine some remaining agenda items and complete them as one large team function which can be done as a potluck. Players must attend unless told otherwise. Please wear athletic clothing and running shoes but I would suggest bringing a change of clothes and different footwear for the remainder of the evening. Below I have outlined what will be happening throughout the night.
a) Dryland Evaluations: this is not a competition between players. This is a competition against ones self. The idea is for everyone to set a base mark of where they are at with certain metrics. There are no expectations to these metrics and it will only assist in identifying what each individual player should focus on in the off-season. This is part of development at this level and I hope each player utilizes the tools given to them to come back prepared for the season.
b) Players Meeting: This will serve as an opportunity for expectations to be set for the upcoming season. Things such as player conduct, dress code, pregame structure and leadership roles will be discussed. This will include an open forum where players can openly discuss any questions, concerns or outlooks they might have.
c) Parent Meeting: This is an opportunity for us to talk about the upcoming season in some detail. Certain aspects of the season including financials, code of conduct, schedule expectations, tournaments and others will be discussed. I will outline the team philosophy that will emphasize development and how we plan to achieve that as a team. There will also be an open forum for questions and constructive conversation.

Also please think about what you will be able to bring to the potluck dinner. I understand this is somewhat short notice but please look at this as a bonding opportunity for the team and a chance to start the off-season with a get together for the parents as well.
Everyone will be receiving an e-mail in the next few days for TeamApp, this is a networking app that we use in order to communicate team news, events and even in-game updates for parents that are unable to attend. I encourage every family to have at least one parent with a presence on this app as it has worked for this team in the past.
