Minor Bantam Tryouts 2013
All players must be registered by STMHA. Any questions about registration please contact Lisa Smith @ STMHA for details (519-631-3607).
* Players are responsible to bring their own water bottles and mouthguards are mandatory.
Tryouts will consist of three 1.5 hour practices along with an invite only exhibition game. The final team roster will be posted on the STMHA team website.
Individual Evaluations:
Coaches and evaluators will be checking for each players strength in skating, speed, passing, shooting, checking and stick handling. Also we will be looking at the players hockey sense and their positional play in all areas of the ice. This will include the players creativity with the puck and their play without the puck.
Goaltender Evaluations:
Coaches and evaluators will be checking for each goalies strength in skating, agility, reflexes, angles, puck control and handling. Along with their overall drive and desire to stop the puck.
Non Resident Players (NRP'S):
This year the St. Thomas Minor Bantam team may select up to 3 NRP players. To qualify for tryouts please see or contact Lisa Smith to be sure all paperwork is correct and complete.
