The Stars got off to a very slow start in a game that had very little flow in the first two periods.  The Stars did manage to take a 2-0 lead into the flood with singles in the first and second.  After the break the Stars made a greater effort to implement their offence and were rewarded for it.  A five-goal explosion in the third pushed the final to 7-0.
